This was custom built in my shop using all the right parts.
The base of the truck started out as a 2008 dodge ram 3500 6.7 cummins dually 4x4 with the 6spd manual. The dodge had a tree fall on the cab totaling it out. The dodge part has 70,000 original miles on it. The 1977 ford f-250 ranger xlt crew cab is a super clean original truck western truck. I bought it as a 2wd truck that was painted a few years ago in the 1997 ford blue you see in the pics. The truck was originally blue, all the interior carpet and seats is original and in great shape. Truck had 77,000 original miles on it. Outside finish is great but is an older paint job that has a few nicks but still presents itself very well. It's fitted with a new 73-75 grill shell an new front bumper with fog lights
This trucks has no expense spared when building it. Chassis has all new fluids, brakes, shocks, ujoints etc...
It has a freewheeling locking hub conversion on the front also
It has brand new Bridgestone 225-19.5 tires on new aluminum 19.5 wheels.
New south bend double disc clutch
6.7 cummins has all the deletes with 5" exhaust all new from the turbo back.
Truck has new radiator and a/c condenser all custom fitted along with intercooler
H&S mini max programmer with different tune and power settings
Egt probe in exhaust manifold
Truck has all dodge wiring and electronics throughout including gauge cluster that is fitted into the original ford dash. It has the dodge a/c heater box and controls. It also has the dodge overhead computer.
Bed is a 92" wide by 102" long C&M bed with gooseneck hitch with trailer plugs and trailer brake controller inside cab
It is loaded with all new led lights
Truck is titled as a 1977 ford and is clean and clear. I have historic plates on it to save on fees.
Dodge salvage title does come with the truck also.
Truck has 3.73 gears, I built this truck to pull just not to drive around an look pretty. I have put a few thousand miles on it since I built it, including pulling my 40' toyhauler with over 2500 miles. It will crusie at 75mph pulling it without issues, you get allot of looks when you pass all the new trucks out there pulling there loads in a 1977 truck.
Basically what you have is a cool old looking truck but is totally modern underneath the best of both worlds
There is thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours into this build and way to much to list.
I build customs trucks like this for a living so this is not a first build.
The truck is 100% ready to go, drive it anywhere. You will never find another like this in the country especially with the big 6.7 Cummins in it.
